Protect Homeless Veterans from COVID-19
Help us HELP VETERANS in need. No matter if they were a medic or on the front lines, our veterans served this country for our freedom by risking their lives. HUD estimates that there are 864 Homeless Veterans in Illinois. This is only an estimate as there could be many more, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic. These men and women took the responsibility of helping to provide freedom and safety for all of us. They sacrificed their own lives, their family time, career choices, and privileges just so you and I could enjoy the same things.
With homelessness comes other issues such as health challenges, lack of food and clothing, unemployment, little or no money, stress, hopelessness and the list goes on.
By making your most generous donation, you can show support that will allow for us to provide resources for homeless veterans and get them into suitable homes while keeping them safe from COVID-19. Georgia Doty Comprehensive Health, Inc. (GDCH) has been committed to helping Veterans have quality of life for over 25 years with resources for housing, health, employment and training.
